Objectives & constitution
Our mission
To assist in the development of veterinary businesses, enabling them to become increasingly successful in the future.
Our objectives
- Developing a financial analysis system that allows analysis of existing business parameters. This will provide a comparison with other businesses and form the basis of targeted advice.
- Developing a customer survey which gives information to the business regarding their performance and provides a comparison with the overall response.
- Developing and/or utilising a resource person to give tailored business and strategic planning advice to individual businesses.
- Developing suitable systems in-house for quality delivery of service at high standards.
- Developing national quality assurance systems which enable individual businesses to take part in national schemes.
- Developing accreditation systems to reward achievement of quality standards.
- Delivering services to veterinary business such as Occupational Health and Safety Plans.
- Establishing special interest development groups such as a 'consultants' and 'managers' groups, and organise appropriate education and training.
- Promoting strength of group(s) as they are demonstrated.
- Enhancing ability for technology transfer and communication structure.
